Boy, let me tell you, whatever I caught was just nasty. I was in bed with a fever, grumpy, clammy, coughing, sneezing, eyes watering—the works. When I heard Egon say he was going to split the boys up, I almost busted out laughing. There’s no way Ray or Peter could hold on their own, and Egon’s aim is so terrible I really have no idea how he caught those three ghosts.

I’d been listening to Peter bicker on the radio for a while. Didn’t hear anything from Ray. I was starting to get a little worried, too. What was Egon thinking when he sent Ray 3 hours out of town by himself? We know that Ray’s the enthusiast, but honestly. He’s a klutz. And he doesn’t pay attention. Ray is practically powerless without Egon’s analytical skills. It didn’t surprise me that he was in trouble.

I had an urge to get out of bed. I was sure staying there was going to drive me crazy with cabin fever. I stood up and immediately felt dizzy. “Alright, alright,” I said, and I sat down. Louis came in the room.

“How ya doin’, buddy? Need anything?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine. I just want get well already.”

“I know what you mean. Sure you don’t want any tea or maybe a bagel or something?”

“No, no, Louis. I’m quite good. You hear anything from Dana?”

“No, why?”

“A few days ago she said she was gonna come by here. Guess she didn’t know we were up to our ears in work,” I sighed.

“I’ll tell you if I hear anything,” he said on his way out.

“Great,” I said.

I got back in bed. I was seriously out of it.

I had this weird ass dream. Okay, so it starts out with this ghost chick. She said something like, “If you don’t get on out of here, there’s gonna be some serious shit.” I was like, “Okay,” and I was out of there. Weird thing is, Peter, Ray, and Egon didn’t leave with me. Dreams are like that sometimes I guess.
