Hidan's Colors are wrong! I drew this before I saw him in color.

Regarding title: SCREW KAKUZU.
Dedicated to this week's chapter, No. 332.

Holy crap that took like all day. So, I went for a cool merging
look but it turned out looking more like Siamese twins. Oh well.

Drew this on paper with a pencil. Then, using a SUPER DUPER technique, I made the scanner copy it CRAPPILY so it would look sort of like crayon (basically I post on Gaia while it scans so my laptop lags just enough to cause it to do that).

I had to scan the bitch about 4 times. To darken lines and such. First time I scanned it Hidan had NO body and Shikamaru's forehead was like, not there. D:

So then. After scanning it I pasted it into paint. Eraced all the little black dots and such. Then pasted it into Photoshop.

Now, coloring Hidan was hard. I had no idea what colors he REALLY was. I used Ino as a color guide. I just assumed that if Hidan was a redhead and black Ino's colors would look better anyways (haha). I used Kakashi's vest for Shikamaru's colors and pictures of Shikamaru from episode 64 (don't ask me why I know the number) assuming his skin color didn't change much in 2 1/2 years... haha.

So. This took like, FOREVER. And I'm still not 100% pleased with it. My second "CG" or whatever. Me likes. <3 A lot. This is also my very first Hidan picture. Oooh, two firsts!

NO. THREE FIRSTS! I've only ever drawn older Shikamaru "chibi" style. AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I DRAWN HIM SMOKING. *GASP* And I almost NEVER do backgrounds.
